All fine chemicals listed in our catalogue and on our website (www.glchemtec.ca) are intended for laboratory use only. They are NOT TO BE USED as drugs, food additives, household products, medical devices, cosmetics, for commercial purposes, and agricultural products. In order to prevent misuse, GL CHEMTEC INTERNATIONAL LTD. will ask the buyer to provide information about his/her organization before placing the first order, which will be kept in the strictest confidence.
The buyer understands and agrees that the products offered by GL CHEMTEC INTERNATIONAL LTD. have not been tested for safety for application in forbidden uses indicated in part 1. The buyer understands and agrees that all products supplied by GL CHEMTEC INTERNATIONAL are intended for and shall be used for laboratory research purposes, and shall not violate any laws or regulations.
All chemicals should be handled by qualified and trained laboratory professionals at all times, as misuse of chemicals can be very hazardous.
The purity of the fine chemicals will be given before the order is placed. The percentage purity quoted will be the guaranteed purity of the final compound.
Material can not be returned unless there has been an item omitted from delivery. Return shipments will not be accepted unless we have been contacted by telephone within 5 days of delivery and have approved the return and given written consent. All claims must be made within 5 days after receipt of goods. Unless otherwise provided, deliveries may be made in one or more shipments. Goods shipped at buyer's risk. After delivery to carrier, in case of delay, shortage or damage, buyer's claim should be made directly with the carrier.
GL CHEMTEC INTERNATIONAL LTD. shall not be held responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from any use of the products it provides. This includes not being liable for loss of work in progress, down time, loss of revenue or profits, failure to realize savings, loss of products of buyer or other use or any liability of buyer to a third party on account of such loss, or for any labour or any other expense.
The Buyer has the responsibility to verify the hazards of any fine chemicals purchased and to conduct any further research necessary to learn the hazards involved in using products purchased from Seller. The Buyer also has the duty to warn his/her employees and customers of any risk involved in the use of or handling of the products.
GL CHEMTEC INTERNATIONAL LTD. does not guarantee that the use or sale of the products delivered will not infringe the claims of any patents covering the product itself or the use thereof in any combination with other products or in the operation of any process.
GL CHEMTEC quotations are valid for 30 days.
